Club Rifle is an unscripted activity conducted on Ranges 1 or 9. Unlike Practical Rifle, it never has a set program but instead is meant to react to the needs of the shooters who show up on that particular day.
Activities such as sighting in, testing ammunition and practicing shooting from various positions are most common. Other activities often include shooting at various distances to determine hold over and hold under to help the gun’s owner become more familiar with their equipment and their own abilities.
Club Rifle makes a point of welcoming new shooters and those wanting to improve their skills. The Range Officers who run Club Rifle are all highly skilled shooters, accomplished instructors and to a person eager to share what they know with those who want to learn
